    It is my 5th year of involvement in the UYD in Mollina and it still amazes me the challenges of having 250 young people living together for one week sharing same spaces and at same time being involved in different activities/courses under the “umbrella” of Global Youth Work. For me there is no doubt that this is a unique space for the development of Global Citizenship – an opportunity to develop our knowledge, skills and attitudes to understand, act and transform the global world we live in, establishing links between our local communities and the global and bringing the global to our local work.

    I want to thank all the organisers of the training program because it was quite huge and I have been thinking that if up to 300 people can live together for one week eating and sharing rooms and activities, I have the feelings that with time the world might become one. I thank YEU, EYF, my good friends that I met, my room mates and all those that have laboured to bring this to reality. May God bless you all AMEN.
